*Not a sponsored post
Maintaining styles and health on curly hair can be an absolute pain. Especially during the winter season. While there are millions and millions of products out there geared towards 'Naturalistas' & 'Curlistas', finding the right ones can be a stressful. Even more so when trying to stick to what these so called 'gurus' say you should be using according to your hair & curl type. Below are 5 products not made specifically for curly hair, but are super beneficial for all types.
African Pride Olive Miracle Leave in conditioner
Don't let the brand name scare you. All curly haired babes can benefit from this Leave in conditioner. It smells amazing and leaves your moisturized and soft. It's anti-breakage formula gives hair added strength as well as moisture & helps control frizz on dry or drying hair. It isn't super heavy, but its formula is quite rich. If you have thinner or shorter hair start with a dime size amount, rub between your hands and work from the ends of your hair up.
Organix Nourishing Coconut Oil weightless Hydrating mist
Is there anything Organix CAN'T do? Of all there wonderful products, this is one of my favorites. This spray makes getting the benefits of coconut oil 3x easier! It smells sooooo good. I love spraying some on and combing it through while my hair is about 50% dry and doing another light spritzing when my hair is dry to add extra shine.

Paul Mitchell Awapuhi Moisture Mist
I love love love this stuff. And not just for hair. It can be used as a makeup setting spray, to cool sunburn, to help cool a small burn wound and tons of other things. I love to use it to refresh my curls when they have started to frizz or when i want them to have the 'just washed' definition, without having to re-wet my hair with water. This can be used liberally by all curl types. It can run a bit pricey, but you will definitely get your moneys worth with all its different uses.

Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Balm
This is another one of my Paul Mitchell faves. You will often hear a lot about the Super Skinny Serum and not so much about the Balm. While they are very similar, the serum is super light and can sometimes make hair look greasy if not used correctly. I like the balm better because it is a little thicker and easier to control. It helps control frizz, speeds up drying time and helps control your style.Apply this to damp hair starting at the bottom. and comb through with a wide tooth comb or fingers. The balm is also a good heat protector if you plan on heat styling or blow drying your hair.
Design Essentials Almond & Avocado Detangling Leave In Conditioner
I have just started to use this and a few other Design Essentials products. Man was I slacking! This is another lightweight but rich formula leave in conditioner. It penetrates the hair cuticles to moisturize, and help fight frizz. It can be a bit pricey, but definitely worth the splurge.
